ISL celebrates its 30th anniversary and announces its First@Science Park programme that marks another significant milestone along its journey of success
HONG KONG, 17 December, 2015 – Integrated Solutions Limited (“ISL”), a leading total IT company headquartered in Hong Kong Science Park and a supportive partner of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”) is celebrating its 30th anniversary today. Founded in 1985, ISL has worked with a wide range of SMEs and large companies across sectors to computerise their workflows and enhance their competitiveness. Growing and evolving over three decades, the company is currently focusing on the R&D and customisation of scalable cloud-based solutions to help SMEs meet today’s global demands in enterprise cloud and workplace connectivity.
In the following months, ISL will partner with HKSTP and participate in the First@Science Park programme that enables technology solutions to be tried out and tested at Science Park for further enhancement. Under this First@ Science Park programme, ReportNOW interactive mobile reporting solution will be deployed in Science Park and be integrated into the Park’s property management system to improve the facility management team’s patrol efficiency in response and work order deployment. This will be the first time for ReportNOW to be internet of things enabled for property management systems for such a large scale deployment. HKSTP will gather user feedback of this new system to facilitate ISL to further improve its solution in the next iteration.
FHKI Seminar on Mobile office – Personalize Your Cloud with New Fields
On 2 December 2015, the seminar on Mobile office – Personalize Your Cloud with New Fields was held in FHKI. Many enterprises have gained maximum benefits from its implementation of information technology and have the edge over their competitors by successfully integrating its key business operations. The utilization of diversified information technology solutions has helped to simplify complex technical problems.
In the seminar, Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of ISL introduced how to use one single App to manage different operations of a company, including the trend and research on using the mobile device; the advantages and the various industrial application of the mobile interactive reporting solution; and a case study of the retail industry. Furthermore, Mr. Mathew Chin, Marketing Manager, Product & Mass Market Marketing, Commercial Group of HKT talked about how to establish a secured cloud office and explained about the advantages of cloud application for SME, how to use cloud technology to reduce operation cost, how to choose cloud application & service provider, and reliability and security of the cloud applicaiton.
Many attendees enquired about how ReportNOW integrates the mobile interactive technology with different systems, such as e-leave and the expenses claim functions etc. ReportNOW is a mobile data interchange platform for all organizations. 2015 China (Shenzhen) Hi-Tech Fair
On 16-21 November 2015, “2015 China (Shenzhen) Hi-Tech Fair” was held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center and its theme was “Innovative and Entrepreneurship, Cross-border Integration”. This fair was co-hosted by Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. It is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is renowned as “the No.1 Technology Show in China”.
“Innothon 2015” started at 8 a.m. on 8 November 2015. The organizers were Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council Limited, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Innovation and Technology Commission; ISL was one of the sponsoring companies.
The Innothon was held in Hong Kong Science Park. There were three types of races for the participants, including 10km individual competition, 1.6km parent-child competition, and 4.8km relay. The Innothon received overwhelming response as over 1000 people had registered for the races.
Apart from the race, free ice-cream was offered and there were game booths for participants to relax and have fun. The Conzoomer App was sponsored by ISL for Innothon 2015.
「菁青相惜分享會」- held by Centum Charitas Foundation
On 9 October 2015, Centum Charitas Foundation organized a sharing session named 「菁青相惜分享會」in Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School. Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of ISL, was honored to be a speaker in the sharing session.
Mr. Hilton Law shared his life experience and described life as a roller coaster with ups and downs which enriches life experience and leads to a wonderful life. Moreover, he inspired students on how to have a positive attitude when facing setbacks and how to search for their own life values and interests.
HKUST Career Mosaic 2015
On 8 October 2015, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) invited Hong Kong Science Park’s companies to participate in the "HKUST Career Mosaic 2015" held by the Career Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). ISL was one of the participants of Hong Kong Science Park.
The objectives of this career fair are to provide an effective platform for the promotion of corporate branding and on-campus recruitment as well as to enhance the career opportunities of the HKUST students. More than 110 companies had provided jobs for the graduates and internship opportunities from industries including the information technology, Manufacturing, Property/Real Estate, Retail/Wholesale/Trading and Financial Services, etc.
Many HKUST students with major in computer science were interested in the mobility solution regarding how ReportNOW can link up with the company’s existing database system and generate reports with real-time information or capture instant data from the mobile devices. Further information of e-M-POWER on Demand and ReportNOW was provided to the applicants for a better understading of the Cloud solution and mobility solution.
HKCS IT Career Expo 2015
On 26 September 2015, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) invited Hong Kong Science Park company to participate in the "HKCS IT Career Expo 2015" organized by the Hong Kong Computer Society(HKCS) at Hong Kong Productivity Council(HKPC) Conference Hall. ISL was one of the participants of Hong Kong Science Park.
The Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) is a non-profit organisation focused on developing Hong Kong's Information Technology (IT) profession and industry. This expo included three topics, "Employment", "Entrepreneurship" and "Training" which provided one-stop information technology careers information through exhibition and seminar in order to increase awareness of IT industry and occupation and encourage young people to choose IT as a career.
Many attendees were interested in e-M-POWER on Demand and Conzoomer which were awarded the “Best SME Cloud Solutions” Award in the SME Cloud Competition held by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO). Information of e-M-POWER on Demand and Conzoomer was handed to the applicants so that they can learn more about the Cloud solutions.

SME Cloud Application seminar and sharing session by HKT
On 2 September 2015, Hong Kong Telecom (HKT) held the SME Cloud Application seminar and sharing session at SME One in the Hong Kong Productivity Council Building. The three winning companies in SME Cloud Competition held by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) shared their Cloud application and feeling about winning in this seminar and sharing session. ISL was also the one of winning companies. After the sharing session of the winning companies, Microsoft shared the superiorities and advantages of Office 365.
Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of ISL, explained how to use Cloud ERP system to move your business to the cloud. He talked about his feeling after e-M-POWER on Demand has been awarded the “Best SME Cloud Solutions” Award as well as the trends of the information Technology industry with the message that times has changed, and so has the business operation model.
Guest Talk of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) at the Hong Kong Institute of Education
On 2 September 2015, ISL was invited to be the guest speaker for the talk of enterprise resource planning (ERP) at the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
Project controller and product specialist of ISL explained what enterprise resource planning (ERP) is and how to find suitable ERP system for business in this talk. After the talk, many students inquired about ERP and the trends of the IT industry.
Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) General Committee Dinner
On 25 August 2015, Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) General Committee Dinner was held in ClubONE at the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks.
This General Committee Dinner focused on sharing between FHKI members and understanding innovation technology. An array of 40 innovation showcases were presented near ClubONE, which demonstrated the latest technologies developed by different IT companies at Hong Kong Science Park. ReportNOW, a mobile data interchange platform showcased how to improve business operation efficiency and flexibility. Many FHKI members were interested in ReportNOW’s functions in the Information & Communications Technology area.
Also, ClubONE provides good food and wine that make attendees feel at home.
Hong Kong Science Park Innovation Showcase 2015
On 21 to 30 July 2015, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) held the “Hong Kong Science Park Innovation Showcase 2015” in the Atrium Link Glass corridor of Hong Kong Science Park.
This exhibition presented an array of 40 innovation showcases, which demonstrated the latest technologies developed by different IT companies at Hong Kong Science Park. There were five areas in this exhibition including Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Green Technology, Information & Communications Technology and Material & Precision Engineering. ISL was honored to be one of the exhibitors, and able to showcase its technology, ReportNOW in the Information & Communications Technology area.

2015 China (Chengdu) Electronics Fair (IoT application & Smart City) – “Hong Kong Outstanding Software Zone”
On 16-18 July 2015, “2015 China (Chengdu) Electronics Fair” was held at the New International Convention & Exposition Center Chengdu Century Cit and its theme was “Internet of Things(IoT) application and Smart City”. It was the first time for the Hong Kong Software Industry Association (HKSiA) to participate in this exhibition with the Hong Kong local software enterprises and established the “Hong Kong Outstanding Software Zone”. The “Chengdu-Hong Kong Software Industry Cooperation Seminar” was held in this exhibition with the topic on “Internet of Things(IoT) and Big Data Era” in order to promote the brands of the Hong Kong Information Technology industry and increase communication between the Hong Kong software enterprises and mainland enterprises. Hong Kong Zone included 16 Hong Kong software enterprises in which ISL is one of the award-winning enterprises. There were many outstanding companies, products and services in this zone which had obtained a number of awards from Hong Kong, China and Asia Pacific.
OGCIO invited ISL to share the“Best SME Cloud Solutions” Award winning solution - e-M-POWER on Demand
On 14th July 2015, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) held the SME Cloud Solution Seminar which focused on how the cloud solution is able to address the needs of SMEs. The audience groups were the Expert Group on Cloud Computing Services and Standards (EGCCSS) and the Working Group on Provision, Interoperability and Use of Cloud Services (WGPIUCS).
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) has established the Expert Group on Cloud Computing Services and Standards (EGCCSS) since 2012 aiming to draw expertise from the industry, academia, community and Government to facilitate and drive cloud computing adoption and deployment in Hong Kong, as well as facilitating expert exchanges among cloud experts both in Hong Kong and the Mainland. The WGPIUCS has been established under EGCCSS and one of the objectives of WGPIUCS is to identify and advise on the potential use and the promotion of the local awareness and adoption on cloud computing.
In this seminar, Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of ISL, was honored to share the “Best SME Cloud Solutions” Award winning solution - e-M-POWER on Demand. The speech mainly shared achievements of e-M-POWER on Demand, what the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system is, the cloud platform and the advantages of adopting cloud computing. Furthermore, ISL discussed with experts from different industries about Public Cloud and Private Cloud applications as well as cloud computing security.
Joint School Student Forum on St. Paul's Convent School 160th Anniversary Open Day
On 4th to 6th July 2015, St. Paul's Convent School held the 160th Anniversary Open Day which included many different programmes for celebration and experience sharing, such as Chinese Orchestra and Chinese Opera show, Dance Winners' performance, Joint School Student Forum, etc.
The topic of the Joint School Student Forum is “Interests, Innovation and Business”. Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of ISL, was honored to give a speech on the topic “How to start an online business”. The speech mainly shared the spirit of entrepreneurship, real experience on managing online business, vision and future trend of online business mode, and advice to students who have intention to start business on line. Many students were interested in O2O marketing model (Online To Offline) and creating online business in Mobile Age. Mr. Gregory Sung, CEO & Co-founder of OneSky also gave a speech in this forum.
